1. Ceres Scholarship
  1. This scholarship is intended for UK citizens and/or international undergraduate students in the field of Materials Science.
  2. Applicants must be full-time and active students during the application, selection, and post-selection periods.
  3. It is awarded to only one individual.
  4. The scholarship amount is £5,000 annually and is paid on a monthly basis.

How to Apply?
Since eligibility for receiving the scholarship will be determined by the responsible authority for scholarships, it is not necessary to apply separately for departmental scholarships. If a student becomes eligible for the scholarship, they will be informed and invited for additional briefing in March.

2. Departmental Bursaries – Materials
  1. This is intended for UK citizens and/or international undergraduate students in the field of Materials Science.
  2. It is awarded to 4 individuals.
  3. The scholarship amount is £1,000 annually and is given as a one-time grant.
Selection Criteria
  1. To be mentioned in the Personal Statement.
  2. Applicants must be full-time and active students during the application, selection, and post-selection periods.
How to Apply?

3. International Baccalaureate Excellence Scholarships
  1. This is intended for undergraduate students in the fields of International Materials Science, Aerospace Engineering, Project (Design) Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Accounting, Construction and Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Engineering, Business, and Physical Sciences.
  2. It is awarded to 28 individuals.
  3. The scholarship amount is £5,000 annually and is provided throughout the duration of the undergraduate program.
Selection Criteria:
  1. Currently enrolled in the IB diploma program.
  2. Minimum predicted score of 44.
  3. International student paying overseas tuition fees.
  4. Studying in the mentioned fields.
  5. Demonstrating exceptional academic achievement.
  6. Applicants must be full-time and active students during the application, selection, and post-selection periods.
How to Apply?
There is no official application process or external application form. Exceptional IB candidates will be identified by the department at Imperial, and their applications will be considered in this manner. While a minimum predicted score of 44 is required, a holistic view will be taken during the application and selection process.
When to Apply?
Important Notice:

4. Stevenson Fund
This is aimed at encouraging women researchers and scientists with bright and science-filled futures for a brighter future.
  1. It is awarded to three individuals.
  2. The scholarship amount is £7,500 annually and is paid on a monthly basis.
Selection Criteria:
  1. To be a UK citizen and/or an international female student in Chemistry, Physical Sciences, Natural Sciences and Engineering, Mathematics, Physics fields at the undergraduate, master's, doctoral, or postdoctoral level.
  2. Engaged in international research for a period of 3 months or more.
  3. Applicants must be full or part-time students during the application, selection, and post-selection periods.
